The great British summer – we’re hoping for long sunny days and warm balmy evenings. This year, International Picnic Day falls on Sunday 18th June, so it’s also a great reason to spoil Dad and take him into the great outdoors to enjoy some food and drink all together. A picnic doesn’t need to be complicated; it could be as simple as taking your sandwich outside to eat on your lunch break, or as extravagant as a giant outdoor party with friends and family. Grab your blanket, pack up your basket, and off you go!
This summer, we’ve launched Hedgerow Strawberry, a limited-edition, vodka-based product made with Annabel’s Deliciously British Yorkshire Strawberries, a perfect collaborative product for this time of year. Annabel’s amazingly delicious strawberries are grown only 30 miles from the Distillery and we only use the “wonky” fruit which might otherwise go to waste. It’s a delightfully light, fresh and fruity tipple, best served with tonic or a mixer such as sparkling Elderflower. It is also a great addition to a summer fruit punch; served in jugs with lots of ice, fruit and mint, it will really bring a summer-berry buzz to your picnic!
